Notes:

1. The name Coulborn doesn't appear in the document after the sixth

generation. Variant spellings are given for the first five. My

great-grandmother spelled her name "COULBORN", so I filled backwards. I don't

know what spellings were used for generations six through ten; don't take my

word for it.

2. Any notes in square brackets [] were not on the original document. I added

these notes for further clarification.

3. Birthdates even when given, were not in order. If dates were given for all

children, I put them in the correct order.

4. Spellings shown here are as they appear on the scroll. I'm sure that many

corrections can be made, such as "Somerset" for "Summerset", "Bruton" for

"Braton", "Nicholson" for "Nicholdson", etc. I thought it best to leave the

spellings as they were.

5. The document appeared to have been written by Robert Coulborn (1774 -

1854), probably shortly after 1800. The reason for this is that the document

was written in one hand and one ink through Robert and several of his

children.
